Salt + Cleaver Restaurant
A 1930's building is returned to form in this radical, modern renovation. 80 years of built-up material was removed to expose the pristine redwood trusses thereby doubling the ceiling height. Special features include a 19 foot perforated aluminum truss chandelier over the bar and an LED-lit triangulated steel wall panel in the newly created outdoor dining patio. Krasne Residence
Residential renovation that deftly blends modern details, the owner's Eastern influences, and the original Craftsman design. Features include a waterjet cut cement fiber board screen inspired by Moroccan lanterns, a cantilevered, bead-blasted stainless steel linear fire pit with starphire glass, an oversized metal front door with door jamb key locks, and teak wall panels with integrated LED art lighting. Features include a razor thin ceiling structure made of cement fiber board and whimsical lighting fixtures reminiscent of whisks, eggs, and cooking utensils. Poses Yoga Studio
A space designed to compliment yoga poses. Special features include a large walnut entrance cube that creates a moment in space and time for the mind and body to calm as you enter the studio. Steel framed resin barn doors that open in symmetry and stylized resin wall panels with exposed aluminum framing create a balanced and refined yoga space. City Dog Wash
Located at the edge of a light rail station, this space is defined by finely crafted metals and resin. Waterjet cut paws in aluminum sheet embody the lighthearted nature of the business and function to separate the washing area from the cashier while maintaining visual access by one employee.
